Hi can anyone tell me how many different mixes there is of problem house - party people. I bought problem house vol 2 and it's not the mix i'm after, the 1 i want has a pianoy bit in the middle of it???

There are loads of different mixes, the original copy though is from '91/'92......
PROBLEM HOUSE VOL.2 - DAYNER OVERLOAD/PARTY PEOPLE (DUTCH HITHOUSE RECS)

The only other 1's I can think of at the moment are....

DJ TRIX - PARTY PEOPLE (Cont' piano)
MANIC - PARTY PEOPLE (Remix)
SUNGLASSES RON - JUMP TO MY BEAT (Cont' Problem House samp')
There's also a very rare bootleg that contains the 'Problem House sample' + a piano + a whip kind of sound.

I don't think your far off mate... its a lot faster than the original, not exactly hardcore but more at home with tunes like Dream Frequency's 'Take Me' and other ravey numbers.

The one you are looking I think is definitely the DJ Trix mix as it breaks down in to a bouncy piano part after all the whips etc.
I was listening to it the other day.
The 12" copy I have is a white label and has Trix mix stamped on one side and Manic mix stamped on the other.No other information stated.

I've got the white label bootleg which Carl Cox used to play - It has the piano break.

On the other side is a faster version of 4 for Money's - Moment In Time.

Don't know if this was ever officially released - is this the Trix Mix???

thanx for all the replies, has anyone seen this trix mix for sale or is it another hens teeth tune, does this bootleg with the 4 for money tune on the flip have a title (ie knights or black velvet)????

The bootleg I got is just white labelled, I got it from 3-Beat Records in Liverpool... Over a 3 year period of going in the shop it was always in there.

Maybe worth giving them a ring? You'll get a nice unused copy. If you do, I'd appreciate knowing if you got it... they tended to get the bootlegs all the time around 95/96/97.

I havent seen this tune for sale anywhere in ages,to be honest when I was looking it years ago when it was released it was hard to get then.The white label copy I have with the (a)Manic mix (b)Trix mix just came in a white sleeve and I only got it by chance as Virgin had a few copys going for £5.75.But as I say that's about eight years or so ago.
Post a thread in the wants section,you never know who may be able to help.

Just tried them fug and they said they haven't had a copy in for about 6 mths now but they took my number and said they'll phone if they get it in again

The Trix / Manic promo has cat # ST001 etched into both sides Mark fella.

It's also got * JTS * etched into both sides, if that's any help :S
