probs uploading pictures to site

all the shots i've taken with my digicam are somewhere in the region of 2.50mb, the sites limit is1.00mb......how do I manage to post a picture??

help please

get www.irfanview.com and open up the jpg, reduce the quality and the size as well

I use irfanview and its top, you can resize stuff really easily.

if you get corel paint shop 10 then it create full image with less space.

ideal for what you want no need to resize and you can edit pictures with it too

free if you know where to go about 600 mb file

I know this is an old thread, but for anybody else with problems, you don't really need any other software to reduce image sizes if you're using XP.

Open your image
(right click on it then) Open With > Paint
(at the top click) Image > Strech/Skew
(if you're using a 5 megapixel camera or above) reduce the Horizontal and Vertical % down to about 25 or 30% and your image should now fit on screen easily.
Save as JPeg and the image should be about 60 - 100Kb
