Producing old skool rave chords

Hi mates,
After a little search i think i found the best way for you old skoolers
how to produce those wicked old skool piano-rave chords even
from the pc-keyboard itself:

1. Download the following virtual-keyboard from here: Bom's mouse keyboard
and install. also works under Vista X64

2. after launching the application, press on the "chord" field and choose: Minor m7

3. and now the fun part beggins: press on your pc-keyboard or with your
mouse on the virtual keyboard and you have an automatic rave chord.
If you want the piano chord from Prodigy's "every body in the place" tune
choose under "Chord" field "Major m7".

4. you can change sounds in the app from the "Patch" field.

5. This app can also be integrated into apps like Propellerhead's Reason
for recording your choons directly in real-time mode.

6. Have fun

I remember reading years ago that Bizarre Inc had a keyboard that had a similar function and that was how they created a lot of their stabs

Have you checked your MIDI settings in your sound card
'cause it should work fine without any problems...

i managed to wire bomes mouse upto reason 4 using "maple midi" as a virtual midi port

works really nice when you select a chord and then patch in a nice sound on the thor synth

think i will be using this method on a few future tracks i'm doing.

Rave Chords

Me and me mate when lived donw south managed it using rebirth with a fatboy connected, fruity loops and reason. Anyone know is ya cant run rebirth on this new fangled windows vista I was using windows 98 at the time. :|
