PS3 / w/less external hd quezzie

Thinking about getting one of these

Would I be able to 'see' this drive thru my ps3 (which is wi-fi) & therefore be able to play the media I store on it on me telly via me ps3 ?

its a media server so it should work, just open the films library on ur ps3 and search for media servers and it should show up as easy as that i think, i use nero media center to stream/copy films to my ps3 from my pc maybe i'll ask santa for 1 of these
