Right, yesterday and today i have sort of skived of placement (i say sort of as i am a little bit unwell). I only strated it last week as well. I have phoned my work educator and told her (lol well left a mesage on the answerphone each morn) and emailed uni (chickened out of phoning).

I don't know why i have done it though as i am hardly enjoying myself. I am just sat here shitting myself that i am going to get into massive trouble. I am 30 for god's sake and i am shitting myself.

Does anyone else feel guilty all day, or once the call has been made do you celebrate?

Also, any suggestions on what i can do thats quite cheap? I want to do something as i am planning on taking the rest of the week off- but i am skint (ish). Is it a waste just to doss round the house? I like doing this but in addition to the nagging worry about skiving in the first place, i now have a nagging worry that i am wasting it lol.

:)

Erm i do actually :$ . I have a terrible attendance rate for last year. I am a buggar for going to the start of a lecture then sacking it off at the break. I have had a hand slap for it already. Never had time of placement before though.

Ah well, i am just going to try ad forget it.

What good markets are on round our way then? Any that does old furniture etc? :) I was going to do Bygone Times for something for my new living room but it has started to resemble a bring and buy in aid of Blue Peter circa 87 lol. Its just full of junk at the mo.

At the last big company I worked for we had 6 'duvet days' a year - basically officially sanctioned sickies so we could just phone up from in bed say we were having a duvet day and then roll over and get back to sleep again!

Jo (NuckinFutz) pulled a sicky on Sunday for her part-time job and got no end of grief for it on Monday! :D Unlucky.

i tend to feel really guilty when i have the initial idea. When i phone work to tell them, even if i'm ill i get really nervous. But soon as it's done i just kick back and relax guilt free. The way i see it, England as a work force are supposedly meant to work longer hours than the rest of europe and we get less holidays too. So sickies are my little way of gettin something back.

As for what i do. Normally just catch up on daytime tv. Enter loads of 10pence per call comps. See if the trisha show has been axed, (which it never has  ) and catch up with some of my dole collectin buddies.

I try not to leave the house too often in case i get caught. If it is college i'm blaggin then balls to it. I'll do anythin then.

Have a good cheeky break.
