Push Push

Just listening to my copy of Push Push by the Original Rockers...

I first heard this in birmingham (breathless@snobs, maybe?) and it was played 3 times at the end of the night by the Rockers themselves.

Does anyone else think this is a top tune? I just cannot get bored of it! Or am I the only one....

My best mates Uncle was one half of Original Rockers

I liked their Shaft In Space tune - I think it was on the 1st Ambient Dub CD

I love it too... Somewhere I've got a tape off the old Choice FM with Lee Fisher doing a DJ set and then there's about half an hour or so of Rockers Hifi live in the studio at the end ... This thread just reminded me it might be worth digging out.

Incidentally the samples on Push Push are from the tune Plague of Zombies on the Scientist album "Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires"

They used the same sample on The Diceman on Vivational at about the same time - a big early prog tune
