Wow, another idol gone  But aged 83 aint too bad?

Asked once about using his sex symbol status to cheat, he famously replied: “Why would I go out for a hamburger when I have steak at home?”

They became so popular he once quipped: “The embarrassing thing is that salad dressing is outgrossing my films.”

And from his daughters:
Paul Newman played many unforgettable roles but the ones for which he was proudest never had top billing. Devoted husband. Loving father. Adoring grandfather. Dedicated philanthropist. To the end, Dad was incredibly grateful for his good fortune. In his own words, ‘It’s been a privilege to be here.’

Respect.....

Movin' on up.
A true icon and role model for people.

The majority of the current crop of movie stars could certainly learn a great deal from his life.

A devoted & loyal family man, a great actor, a racing driver, successful business man who gave the huge profits to good causes and a man who continued to eat at his local diner like Joe Public. Humble.

That's cool.

RIP.
