Really sad news. If you read a little about the man, it becomes apparent that not only was he a screen legend, but a nice bloke - married to Joanne Woodward for 50 years (how rare is that, especially in Hollywood?) and gave all the profits from the salad dressing and food items he sold to charity. Has raised over $250 million dollars to date. RIP Mr Newman.

The majority of the current crop of movie stars could certainly learn a great deal from his life.

A devoted & loyal family man, a great actor, a racing driver, successful business man who gave the huge profits to good causes and a man who continued to eat at his local diner like Joe Public. Humble.
