Im seriously begining to wonder about the sadness of my existance...last night (a Saturday night nonetheless) we were sat in (ok we were getting hammered) wondering how to entertain our tiny little minds...when we stumbled along the idea of doing a Rainbow remix.. and not only that we thought we'd have a photo for the up and coming album to go with it...:S
errrr..we also have a few more that are in the rejection bin !

And now today on this glorious day I am sat her on a computer wanting to speak to other people who have the same sorta worrying existance to me !!!

Where are all the people with lives today (probably out having one !!) ???

Does anyone else share my worrying view on my life ?? Well I mean your life, yeah right whatever....

Did you see what I did there too, ended on a question so people have to answer, or at least consider it !!

Christ, Im going.... :fekked: :axe:

God I know EXACTLY where your coming from and it worries me too.

I have had an appallingly poor weekend for which there is no excuse at all and today I have been punishing myself by worrying about it and mulling it over. I just went to the pub for a quick beer and started moaning about how I hate crap weekends and I feel old and this and that and the other!!! My prob is when I start thinking about shit like this I start analysing and then worrying!!!!:axe:

Basically, we are all sad....Errrrr No, What I mean is we take it easy every so often beacause:

A) We are getting WASTED at GT next weekend

B) We hammered it on allsorts for years (And Still do!!!) but are now responsible adults (Yeah right!) and therefore undestand the value of looking after ones self every so often.

Existence at the moment consists of:-

Work>Few hours free time at night>Bed>Early start>Work>Few Hours free time at night>Bed>Early Start>Work...........Wekend - Too tired to be arsed facing the hustle and push and shove of bar crawling so stay in instead and do sad things you know you shouldnt be doing if you had a life, then worry about how sad youre getting as years go by then before you know it is sunday night :

Bed>Early start>Work>4Hours free time at night>Bed>Early Start>Work...............all over again......Good iniit? - No.

I think Ive forgotten what a life is I think. Time for a re think on things I reckon............

God, thats made me even more of a miserable git......soz u lot.

Sirius.

I know wxactly where ya coming from.

Hmmmm...Im glad Im not the only one who thinks this !!!

Pacman I like your reasoning on this:

A) We are getting WASTED at GT next weekend
B) We hammered it on allsorts for years (And Still do!!!) but are now responsible adults (Yeah right!) and therefore undestand the value of looking after ones self every so often.

I myself am going to go with this one ! :D Still doesnt quite explain the whole rainbow experience, but I might leave Jaxxy to explain that 1 !!! ;) ;)

Glad ya like my theory!!

I think that years of chemical abuse on our minds has led to this sudden Rainbow theme randomly filling up saturday nights. Me and my mates spent the hours 23:00 on a saturday until 06:00 on a sunday creating a 'Rainbow Bin' a few weeks ago which we then placed on the pavement outside in order that we could watc 'normals' reactions to it. Theres a lot more to it but I'd be here all day!!!

Okey Dokey........

..................We went out for one of my mates birthdays and consumed (ALOT). For some mad reason he didnt wat to go to a club, he wanted to go...TEN PIN FEKKIN BOWLIN'!!!!! (You wanna try doin' that off it, especially when the alley is jungelesque in heat).Anyway, we got back to my house (About 15 of us) and carried in the 15 bowling pins we had for some reason purchased!!!!.

I got a large box, about 3 feet tall out of the back and decided that we should put all out crap in it however we also started to decorate it Rainbow stylee - Coloured in massive Rainbow, foild, balloons stuck on te top depicting the characters.

It was very artistically done I'll tell ya! and took some hours, and at about 6am ish we put it onto the street to watch reactions of the normal folk who were off for their Sunday papers.

It was excellent, they had to double, and triple take. The dbest was when a bloke and his kid closked it, and the bloke said 'OOh look, its Zippy (Refferring to the fekking balloon on the top) like it was normal'

And that folks, was 'The Rainbow Bin Night' !!!!

Lol !! I think a lot of our lives are very similar to this, mine slightly differs in the fact I go to a course, rather than a job, so I get all the shite things that go with it but no cockin money at the end of it...:(

I think we should all have a rethink at GT.. when we are all at our best mind settings !! You going Sirius ???

weekends

:) :D

I know im only new but this topic has been something iv spent a lot of time thinking about.

:S

When i think back to some of the escapades i use to get up to on a weekend compared to the many quiet ones i have now where the big joy is the frasier double bill i come close to tears:$

Those hazy summer nights at loveshack, life and kinetic where golden years

:drum:

but now its all changed.

The music lacks emotion, the people lack appreciation and the clubs lack consideration.

My tip for the top is to stick witht the quiet weekends. get a few mates and get trollyed in the house.

But once a month get a old skool gathering together, book a cheap flight across europe and have a big one.

Its all about quality these days not quantity.

as a wise woman once said. nothing lasts forever

Hiya risty, welcome to the board! You've hit the nail on the head about music lacking emotion these days, fortunately we've got the likes of Goodtimes keeping it going.

As for my life (or lack thereof) I've been working on a couple of things these last two weekends so I haven't really gone out much, but this weekend I'd promised myself a night out so hell was raised in Wigan Pier with the Chorley crew followed by 32 straight hours of work to get a site ready for a show Monday.

For me if I don't get out at least every other weekend I tend to get very stressed - this would probably change if I was settled down somewhere (well maybe???) but for the time being I make a point of larging it whenever possible.
