Re-Release/Repress.......

Just thought Id let u know I think Voodoo Ray is being re-released/re-pressed, cos I baught one today for 6quid......on Warlock records, although I dont how you can tell its not pukka besides it being absolutely mint.

Oh, I got the Farm 'Rising sun' too 2nd Hand. Anyone know it?, bit of a suprise really.

Also, 'Warlock' do repress alot of stuff, my mate got a repress of 'Voodoo Ray', with one of the mixes on the 12" being a really sh*te piano kinda mix, absolute pants!! Stick to the original remix!!! which is on 'RHAM'

Yeah its got 5 mixes on.....and seeing as I havent ever seen an original I didnt think 6quid was extortionate. Havent played it through yet, so quality wise Im not sure - Ill get back to it. Its an American Import by the way.......the 'pianoey' mix is Frankie Knuckles I think.

I've got the Rham rel. and the Warlock one, buying the Knuckles mixes seemed a good idea at the time. I'm pretty sure the Warlock 12" has an original'ish mix too, so you get the best mix anyways.

Im not all that keen on the piano mix of Voodoo ray that Mr. Knuckles attempted. Ive only got the RHAM release, me personally, there's no other better mix than the original remix! One of mi all time favourite choons is Voodoo ray!!
