Rebuild / Partition Magic

Im in the middle of rebuilding my machine and this is the first time ive used Partition Magic, anyway ive downloaded 8.0 and cracked it,

Ive created a new drive F drive and ive now transfered all my tunes and videos over to the F drive.

Now im going to rebuild and reinstalll windows on the C drive but Partition Magic is installed in C programs

Does anyone know if when i rebuild and partition magic dissapears out the C drive cause its cleared everything if i will still have an F drive will all my tunes on it ?

or does partition magic change the way the hard drive looks at the information stored on it permenantly ?unless you delete the drive ?

Also does anyone have a fucking clue how to get XP Pro to boot up in MS DOS without a boot up disc ?

I cannot for the life of me work it out and I need to boot up in DOS cause booting up from the XP CD isnt giving me the options that it should and letting me rebuild, its just fucking booting up the PC, even when pressing enter on the welcom screen

this ones sorted, got a disc from work, still need to know if I format C with Partition Magic on it, will I still have the F drive that Partition Magic creates ie does it change the Hard drive itself?

BTW if anyone wants PM 8.0 PM me its fucking brilliant for creating drives for music / tunes etc

anyone any idea how to get the CD to boot up then to install the application instead of just loading up the operating system ?

Its set in BOIS to boot from CD, it asks me if I want to boot from CD then just loads the operating system rather than actually loading up the Windows menu on the CD

Its set to boot from CD in the BIOS, it starts booting from CD once I press anykey, couldnt find the anykey so I used enter instead

This then boots up Windows as normal but i dont want that, I want it to open the option to format / repair / install Windows.

I cant get that to happen

now here the shitter part of it fella, ive got a USB keyboard it never fucking rains

there is a setting where i can enable the USB from the BIOS but onve the drivers have gone on the new build will the keyboard still work for me to get back in BIOS and set up the HDD back ?

No wonder its the first rebuild ive done on the machine in 4 years

Im expecting a proper shit hot machine once I get it sorted though !!!!

Im guna set up a couple more drives once its rebuilt

E - Videos
F - Tunes

should still work if the bios has usb support i reckon....even if it doesnt u can buy one of them adapter things thatll change ur usb into a ps thing for ur keyboard no worries

It was the USB keyboard, Windows would not allow me to boot up the CD and format / reinstall using a USB keyboard, because once formatted it will not see the keyboard to put in the product code when installing windows, I got a PS keyboard from a mate last night banged that in booted up XP from the disc, straight into set up.
