I sold a 3 track bootleg on ebay for $5.70 (£3.20 + £2.50 p&p) and royal mail have lost it. I know its not much but needs must ;)

Has anybody ever claimed back the money for a record they sold on ebay ? The claim form wants written proof of value, im not sure how to do this exept sending them a print out of the auction. Will they give me the whole amount back or just the records value and not the postage ?

Thanks in advance :dummy:

ive claimed before, just print off the auction and any emails saying that he paid for the records and send them all to them

you just get the value of the item back if i remember correctly, i might be wrong thou

hope this helps

you get a form from the post office fill it in attach the paperwork being the invoice from ebay and a copy of the proof of delivery or receipt for that item.

take it to the post office that you sent it from and in about 2 weeks youll get a letter saying they cant find it and a cheque would be enclosed.

Either you (the sender) or the other person can claim depending on who has the proof of postage receipt.

i had one go missing for about £20.00 plus the postage and they refunded in about 2 weeks after filing it.
