Hello all

Looking for any advice really....
Just got me an ipad2 on the cheap, essentially to piggy-back a mate's SkyGo but also to record some mixes at home. Having stored all me kit in the loft for 10+yrs whilst kids etc happened, have been buying some vinyl of late & starting to play a bit.
I'm about as useless as it gets technology wise, and haven't recorded any sets since stuff put onto cassette way back when.
Having seen how easy this thing supposedly looks, and cos it was only £30, just bought me one. Anyone had any experience with it?

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnbN64SJUYI]How to record DJ sets on iPad using the BEHRINGER UCA222 USB interface - YouTube[/ame]

Is it really as straightforward as it looks? I'm using x2 1210's, a simple old Vestax mixer and that's about it. From the Youtube vid, looks like I need Garageband on the ipad then I'm away?

Any help gratefully recieved. Like I say, fookin' useless with stuff like this

Cheers

Managed to get this sorted, all pretty simple really. Would thoroughly recommend the bit of Behringer kit, piece of piss to use.
Didn't need Garageband in the end but had to fork out another £5-6 for an unofficial camera connector kit to connect the USB adaptor to the Ipad.

Anyway, here's the mix..

Mixing's a bit safe & predictable but the tunes are great, particularly if Deep US House is yer bag
