I record and trim using the wave form each track ensuring all recordings start without any lead in and finish correctly. Hit a button and I can balance the recording, another button and clicks are removed (only used if a bad click as I like my recordings to sound like vinyl) and final button to amp to the level I want it at. Save the recording as a wav and then simple swap of format and record as mp3. Very very easy and great quality.I use v1.5 which is about 6 years old and does the job brilliantly so don't see the point in upgrading.S</blockquote>
