wave editor

i use nero wave editor, it records your mix, then you can split it into tracks then burn it with no pauses between, all in about 7 swift movments!

i use wavelab 6, i have never used any of the other programs so i cant say this is best but i find it easy to use and i can tweak all the levels to get the best quality i can

just used soundforge & t-racks for ages 'suppose im just in a routine! nero was 'just' a cd burning tool when i first got a copy & i've never really used it for anything else except for burning cd/dvd

i know that you can equalize, compress, limit & burn all in soundforge, but i don't!...too lazy to learn how!!
i particually like t-racks (T-RackS) to master with its got a simple interface that you can set up to master the full track or you can process in real time and fiddle away to your hearts content!
