I think that dreams sometimes are about underlieing issues. (question for someones comment earlier)If dreams were a tool to get rid of probs, why would u have reaccuring ones?not a very effective "tool" is it? If u don't wake up in the middle of REM sleep (light sleep/when u dream)u won't remember the dream. This signifies a good sleeping pattern (usually associated with peeps who are "natural" early birds. You will never die in a dream, it's sort of like the Matrix in that the body would go into shock and u could die! *Also when u have any falling dreams (off a cliff, down steirs, "up a kurb in my case) It is to stop you falling asleep too quickly. Your body has not had enough time to shut itself down (like turning a compter off without booting down first) it could cause coma and death.* I have just read some conflicting evidence to what I wrote, but as the righter did not say how they came by the info......I choose to go with my psyc teacher. In reply to the thread righter, What was happening? What you were feeling at the time? etc etc (This is the only thing that is not symbolic imo) All the objects and people are generally symbolic. I am not qualified, I studied Psy, but I regard myself as intuitive and can often jump into others situations and know the fealings and reasons for actions in most situations. ps dont always instantly believe all dream representations in books, they sometimes do not correlate with each other on the same things. This does suggest an amount of unreliability.
