You defo need to plug it into the phono sockets on the back of the amp as this will be the only input that is properly amplified, on the other inputs the amp will assume (as much as a piece of metal and electronics can do) that the input is already amplified to an acceptable level.apart from that, I cant think of anything else that might be wrong</blockquote>
