Such an under rated DJ, and a bloody lovely guy Roy is. He was at the heart of the UK's House scene pretty much from the start in London. I believe he started his career back in the early days of Kiss FM in the 80s. When I moved back from London in 1996, I got Roy to come down and play at a night I was promoting and DJing at called Up Trumps. He ended up coming down for a whole week with his partner and her mother. I spent one day showing them around West Cornwall. Really lovely humble people. I wish we had recorded his set, as he played an absolute blinder of deep and vocal House mixed with some classics. He played a bootleg of Keisha Jenkins' I Need Somebody v Jimi Polo Better Days (Sasha DMC mix), and the club literally exploded. It was a goose bumps moment. At the end of the night he gave me the 12" and wrote a message for me. What a guy. It's a well used piece of vinyl now... as you can see in the pic! I can't find any record of it on Discogs or YouTube, so have done a quick rip of it for people to here. Excuse the quality. https://mega.nz/#!KipHnQza!JtBm1hGYM6PQ5EWmqRFLhNQye-1WJt-Kuh4O_F2lJws
