i knew this was going to be a good night when we got to the car park and there was about 80 or so people in the queue. the door staff where slowin things down though and it took about an hour to get in.
special guest dj KEITH CAPSTICK was on playing classic tunes from zone (slip n slide and so on) only moan was that he only did a two hour set.
resident dj JOHN G's set was a mix of new bouncin tunes, older bouncin tunes and the odd zone/pianoey tunes making for a good selection enough to dance hard to.
WAYNOS played more recent bouncy tunes at a later set which got the crowd goin.
PMB and RIKKEE did a back to back for the last set of the night. they played current dance tunes(pretty green eyes) and some "recent old" tunes making for a good bouncy dance before the night drew to a close.
mcs EFEEZE and DODGER were on throughout the night but didnt over do it, knowing when to stop or have a break from MCing.
The large crowd (for cricketer anyway) meant the club was absolutely roasting and the chill out room didnt open till 2am. you could get a sweat on just sittin down!
For some reason there was a mass exodus of people from around 3am. this had the benefit of less heat though! however the lack of people left in the club at around 5am meant that the owner decided to close an hour earlier than scheduled.
the atmosphere was good and there wasnt any trouble (that i knew of) which meant a good night to bounce to your hearts content.
p.s thanks to the gut in the trannie van who gave us a lift back!
