Sasha Playing Oldskool

hi peeps,
ive downloaded quite a few sasha sets off here recently from various clubs circa 89-92,and was wondering if sasha would or could be coaxed to play this sort of stuff again?
the music in these sets is so diverse,and although the mixing isnt top notch,sasha knew how to educate a crowd 100%.
i dont know if this question has allready been asked on osa,or he has indeed at some point in the last few years played oldskool,but its just been on my mind for a while and needed to share it with like-minded people.

I wish, and if you get Ste Williams to as well I'd be made up.

I'm no dj but was at shaboo to hear such sets and buzz my tits off and still love the newly found downloads

My ipod and iphone are full of Sasha, Nipper etc and Nipper was playing hackkets but Ste and Sasha held me in shaboo for there music

I think the old late 80's early 90's eclipse, shaboo and shelly's sets are outstanding and with a modern sound quality these sets remade would be a joy to hear

Its the music sound of these sets that at the time was good but listening again with out medicine proves how good there music choice was

There seems to be a push for all things good and old to once again be in fashion

For Sasha to give some back he should remember his roots and release a classic set before we are all to old to give a shit

I use the term classic sets as to me that's what they are

O I will throw any given night in from Quadrant park in as a master class in Northwest/Merseyside true classics

i would have loved to have been at some of these mentioned nights pal. im touching 40 and didnt start to go "ravin'" till mid 91,so i missed quite a lot of the early stuff.
ive seen the you-tube footage of sasha at shaboo in blackpool and it looked a belter of a night!!
yeah,he should go back to his roots,but his head may well be up his own arse to even care!! lol.

I reckon he would love to but to much is at stake but then again I just watched a back to the the old school utube clip at MAXIMES and it looked grim with middle age (like us) dancing with glow sticks and sweating like a rapist on trial

I will leave my memories back to my late teens mid 20's

The music is still true but the drugs and people are not

If I tried to dance now I'd be a cripple for a week

Now I'l just put the kettle on

its not so much sasha playing a classic set who would pay the money for him to play one he would charge a fortune i would love to hear him play a classic set one like the orbit set in 91 with man parris and jon e bloc but i dont think id be dancing like i used to no chance in that even tho the mrs would be giving it large id be out of breath after 10 minutes LOL

He doesnt have to give anything back to anyone. He just has to continue doing what he as done for years. Keep moving forward. As much as I love Old Skool if someone doesn't want to play it then it is no skin off my nose.

I respect him a lot more for sticking to his guns and not cashing in. More than can be said for many nowadays.
