Hi, the village idiot again, lol.
I recently reformatted my works computer's hard disk and split it into 4 parts:
c: fat32 for windows 98se
d: Ntfs for WinXP Pro Sp1
e: fat32 for files
f: fat32 for files.
Windows 98 doesnt see the winXP drive whilst in windows 98se mode, Im okay with that cos any files I need will be on another partition thats fat32 anyway, and I can see the win98 partition from XP.
Everytime I start my computer, it warns me that the E partition needs to be checked for consistancy and performs a scan disk - every single time! .
Ive tried to reformat the disk in fat32 from windows98 and it completes perfectly yet still shows this error on boot up, and Ive tried to format it fat32 from XP and its still the same.
Why is it doing this, and what can I do to sort it out once and for all?
Thanks
Sirius.
