So i go and get married, and lo and behold i turn into some shabby chic loving bitch right there in the reg office. Fuck knows what happend, prior to 12 pm on the 24th all was well- i had quite balanced tastes inderior design wise- now its all gone tits. By 12.15 i was foaming at the mouth for a bit of Laura Ashley.

If its knackerd, i buy it. If it looks so distressed its about to collapse, i buy it. If it had peeling paint, or indeed in need of a bloody good paint i buy it (naturally to keep just looking so shabby, and hey, thus 'chic'). Jonno is beside himself with worry at the transforamtion- he feels i am one step away from making some bizarre Cath Kidson gingham material tent shit to cover his decks (mod cons are the nemisis of any shabby chic boudior, and as such need to be covered. Like the dvd in the bedroom which i have cleverly concealed within a wooden box- fucking mare to get the remote to work though lol).

He put his husbandly foot down yesterday when i draped the bed with an elegant lol pink floral thang, he said it was like getting into his granny's bed.

Anyone else loving shabby chic at the mo- or am i, (like innocent on the outside but oh so filthy on the inner- Mizz Charlotte Church) a crazy chic?

LOL I'll bet there's never a dull moment in your house:thumbsup: :D
Anychance you can shabby chic your reply up a bit- i dunno, slip in some reff to you wiping your arse after your regular 8.30 shit with loo roll that is encased in a handknit rosebud holder or summat? Perhaps you had an egg this am out of an egg cup holder that was chipped and had naff gold leaf edges?

Yesterday I was wearing an old pair of beachpants that are the comfiest things ever:cool: I ripped one of the legs a while ago though:cry: and now there's a hole developing on the arse area. Until I find another pair that are as soft as silk i'm gonna keep shabbying it up a bit too:)

Stick a patch over the hole (take a pic first though and post it, we all want to see your bum) preff completley contrasting fabric to that of your pants and it will be tre shabby chictastic! You could sell them on ebay them lol for a fortune.

It's easier said than done taking a picture of your arse. I've just used up all my phone memory trying to get a good shot...............

Well this picture did actually get some of my arse in the shot and shows that the rip is actually a bit shabbier than I first thought and slightly baggier. Plus due to me changing into these from some other pants the shirt's a questionable match too and doesn't look ironed.

I wonder if i'm getting the hang of this?:)

I hate shabby chic especially for the house - its so scruffy. I prefer to be modern and tidy, lol
I cant live in a house that looks like the grandmother of Laurence Llewelyn Bowen has interior designed.:D and those gits at changing rooms better not come within 10feet of my front door

ps: Jiglo thats one baggy ar$e on those pants hun, lol
