just watched the first series today, whilst in me sick bed (violins out) feckin quality, top notch manc misdemeanours allround. well up for the 2nd series now, reminds me so much of me mams side of the family lol
have to agree with jammer, she is hot! but in a normalish council estate type way, although it has been said i have a scally girl fetish i blame that on maximes myself (home of the fittest girls in the NW) but that youngie Karen is well ruder, and tops the shameless hotty charts pour moi

Love Shameless, we never miss a single episode, very tempted to turn over to E4 after channel 4's has finished to watch the next one. (Muuuust reeeeesisssst!)
Best English Comedy Drama ever for me. I love this program. Great scripts, performances are always awesome and the characterisation is so strong. No weak or boring characters. I adore Sheila. The creative ways the familys have to make ends meet are great.
Lots of people I know in Manchester, particulary older work colleagues hated this program. Passionate hated. Personally I think it might be a little too close to the bone for them.

Top prog, its filmed in West Gorton and I can tell ya its spot on. read somat about the film crew havin to ring the dibble cos they was gettin grief off the kids on the estate!
