I used to love The Happy Mondays and Black Grape..... I recently saw the documentary called ’Shaun Ryder Comes Clean’ I was quite shocked at the state of Ryder. He really did look ancient and you could hardly tell what he said most of the time. Half his teeth were missing and he was a total wreck who just cadges money from his friends and family to pay off his court costs. He released an album last year also which I didn't know about called 'Amateur Night In The Big Top'. I will try and get it from soulseek later just out of pure interests sake. Here is an extract from a review I read about the Album: "Now, spluttering "piss" and "sh*t" during 'Long Legs' or rabidly babbling on 'Clowns' about being beaten to death by people with "big floppy shoes", he's the dribbling old soak talking to himself on a park bench - too shaky to get his Special Brew to his mouth - barely conscious, never mind coherent. " Shaun is already teaming up with Bez as we speak (this time Bez will be singing lol) The single should be out this month, I cannot wait to hear it, should be the funniest thing ever. What a waste, such a shame about Shaun ending up like this. Did anyone else see the docu?
