What do you wear in your leisure time, (thats leeezure time for the few Americans we have here).

Personally, its trainers all the way for me. I have tons of pairs, mostly retro Adidas. I did go through a Puma Speedcat phase a while back, and even bought some of those Nike Cow Toes. Always back to Adidas though. My fave pair of navy and white velcro Stan Smiths.

Current faves are Adidas forest hills, yellow base- 4 months old so just at the right stage of worn in-ness.

I only wear shoes when i have to (Placements, weddings etc). Hence my feet usually smell of whisky.

So folks, is it shoes or trainers.

100% agree with your post.. trainers all the way, always Adidas classics, shoes only worn when i absolutley have to..

Forest Hills are prob the best trainers eva IMO. Unfortunatley my pair are knackered as they are about 4\5 years old from when they were first re-issued with the gold stripes, can't wear them when it's been raining as my feet get soaked lol!

Lol how true, its the daft holes in the soles. I have totally dismissed the removable insoles, they really did smell baaad as my feet keep getting wet. I have tried to get hold of a pair of red forest hills to complete the collection of re-issues, but alas they are like gold dust!

I got some new Adidas Samoa of Jonnybag last week (in a really unusual colour way- sky blue and red), the tread is made up of tiny Adidas logo's. Have to wear them in for a bit though before i can wear them out. I am not a fan of the new trainer look.

currently got my SL 76'S glued to my feet, although i do occasionly swap them for my antelopes or Italia's
Not a big shoe fan at all - although i was desperate for a nice new pair - you know for when you occassionly have to smarten yoursen up a bit ;) so i bought a nice pair of Nick Deakin boots

For me - Timberlands or trainers (Adidas all the way) ....although sometimes the Oliver Sweeny's come out as well.

trainers all day every day.have to wear shoes for work so its a relief at the end of a long:p hard day to slip on me air max :) wouldnt ever stoop as low as to wear shox but air max classics are wicked and last for ages. cant beat a pair of reebok classics with the chunky sole, for casual wear. got a pair of reebok styled a bit like the old stylee puma ones and thats as retro as it gets for me.
the adidas samba stylee ones just dont provide enough comfort or bounce in the sole for me
