just personally

much as i respect the ability of mc's it just winds me up

maybe because i like to hear the tunes...dunno just not my cup of tea m8
yeah for most parts i totally agree, but some MCs who dont over do it or spout total and utter sh*te can really get the place rockin and get a reaction from the crowd which is good IMO
but theres a time and a place for it and they should know and respect that, not shouting over DJ Sy scratching edge one- compounded whilst its playing:mad:
if ya know what i mean lol

it just would not be the same without mc's. They can rap over anything they like except rhythm of life - touch me

I personally find them bloody annoying, and always have. It was bearable on the night  , but it really pisses me off now when i put on an old tape and it has some bloke yelling all the way through.

:)

But each to there own as others have stated :)

I think there great for happy hardcore and jungle (neither of which I'm really into). Personally I dont care for em unless they keep it to a minimum. I deffo don't wanna hear anything but the music if I'm in a trance club.
Livin in the states, I can only remember seeing maybe 1 or 2 mc's in the last 12 years of my clubbing experience. There not to popular over here, thats for sure (except in the hip hop clubs, which I dont venture into). :S
