Sevenoaks, down south
Im a massive fan of the early 90's release's on SUAD, been listening to load of tunes on the label recently and although you would never say it sounds fresh today Im sure most would agree that this ground breaking london breakbeat label plays a key role in what we would define as old skool dance music.

Intrested to know peoples thoughts on the label and top early tracksphones: (Hence the poll)

Voted for Nicolette out of the choices there.

Loved all these:

Ade - Summer Breeze
Rum & Black - ESQ / Slaves
Nicolette - Waking Up
Ade - Change The World
Back From Detox - E.R.B. / Dove People

SUAD is one of my fave labels      phones:

I couldnt possibly chose just one tune out of that list - one of my faves isnt there either :(

out of the options there im going for

nicoltte - single minded people
SUAD - Lamboghini
SUAD - Derek Went MAD / 20 pounds to get in / this town needs a sheriff ;)

and one that aint there ADE - Summer Breeze  lush for this weather!!!!

had to go for 'this town needs a sheriff'
as 'a change soon come', '5678' & 'raps my occupation' aint listed!
always loved the 'rap' tracks better the 'hardcore/breaky' tracks myself!

So did a lot of the early SUAD release's make it up north then back in the day??
well they did in carlisle!
one of my mates used to get all the promos sent to him, and the local record shop used to get them, thats where i got most of mine from!

top band!

now wheres that suad mix i done ages ago!!

hooligan 69 for me that awesome bassline gets me every time........remember see'in the ragga twins @the eclipse in 1990 and they got boooed and bottled off the stage towards the end of there set for giving it to much ragga.....then sasha came on after them and played the orig of sweet dreams by eurythmics......mental:fekked:
