All stored on a 2TB hard drive, networked round the house (not in the bog as yet but am workin on that)

On a completely seperate subject i have just bought a self powered USB hub for my denon as after reading the manual i then apparently can plug all my usb sticks and hard drive into it without having to swap it all around- do you use one of these?

No, I only use a USB hard drive straight to the Denon as with Hubs it can slow down the transfer rates and you could get glitchy audio - if you go direct from the hard drive to the Denon there's no chance of any delays...

The Denon unit is deffo the best tool for the job and it's ace never having to burn anymore CD-Rs :D

What usb hard drive do you use?- i have a maxtor- but it has 2 cables coming from it and is not self powered- the denon does not like it and wont use it for some reason
