Sky HD Box?

I have sky full subscription for 2 screens....circa £75/ month and im not prepared to meet the additional £10.25 per month per screen only to watch BBC HD. So if I buy an HD box from fleabay and plug it in with my SD sky cards will I get BBC HD and BBC1 HD which are free to air? I assume the Sky+ facility would still work and it would be best to get a box with a bigger HD?

Thanks as im a bit thick with sky and dont want to buy one to find it does not work??

I phoned sky last night to cancel my multroom but keep my hd subscription. They said they have a offer on now if you get both you pay half price for both ,so you only paying 10 pound and its for 12 months.
