I've got the US release of this with 3 Tony Humphries Mixes on

Extended Version
Zanzibar Dub
Zanzibar Instrumental

are any of these the one that Sasha used to play?

I'm guessing its Zanzibar Instrumental

right then...

Sasha played the Slammin 12" (1991) and the tony humphries version (i think i heard on a tape). The one to get is the Slammin which is on MCA records :-

MCA - 1503B is the one.
MCA - 1503A is the 7"
MCSX - 1503 is 'the if' Remix (good funky piano mix tho) but no Slammin mix.

However, there's also this:-

MCA 12-54085

Which has the extended 12" Slammin Mix. Exactly the same as what sasha played, just a longer edit, slightly re-arranged but a slightly better quality pressing IMO.

The version you have is the 1990 issue.

I have all.

LOL

One of Slam Slam's other tunes called Something Aint Right is a beaut and well worth seeking out if you don't know it. From what I remember the vocalist was / is Paul Wellers wife.

There are other Morales remixes that never came out. There are also several Tony Humphries remixes that never came out.
