Bloody weather!

I went out for a drink in my lunch and just as we were about to leave it chucked it down!!. Bloody violent snow storm!. Tigger thought it was funny that I was stressin coz I didn't have a brolly or anyhtin.

Luckily the guy from behind the bar lent me 1 but I was still a little wind swept when I got back to the office!

Well i have not drove my car for 2 days, and when i went out to it at tea time it was all frozzen over, so i srpayed wd40 all over it. When i tried to put my key in, it wouldnt turn, and all the doors refused to open.

Naturally i thought someone had tried to break in and dammaged the locks, so i climbed in through the boot, went to tesco for some tea, and then the driver door swung open whilst i was driving! And it wouldnt shut again!

So i drove to the local garage, one hand on wheel, one on door, got into a fluster and started crying to the poor car fixing man, not just a bit of crying either, but snot and spit :$ , all the stress of my exams and essays just came out on this man, and i was shouting 'and some fucker has now broke my car' :S

Imagine my embarrassment when he simply sprayed wd40 into the locks and all the ice melted, as if by magic the car was fixed :$

we have all roads in my area as ice rinks with cars playing a kinda bowling ball game where one wheel spins then fires off and goes into another.
At 5 o'clock i left my works car park
At 6 o'clock i was just an the road outside my works
At 8.15 i had travelled 1 MILE yes 1 whole mile
i was behind a BT van that couldnt cope with the slight incline in the road and i had visions of it coming back Bowling ball style into me
i got out of the car walked up the road all i could smell was burning rubber as all cars where wheel spinning everywhere.
then went back to my car no one had moved so after 3 1/2 hours of 1 mile movement i gave up and walked the usual 10 minutes in a car home so
Leaving work at 5 pm and getting home at 9.30pm without my car was a pretty daft f**kin night if u ask me.
And theres me this afternoon saying i love snow
Maybe ive changed my mind.

Woke up this morning to mass hysteria and media reports about the "big freeze".
Went outside and there was half an inch of snow, the sun was out and it was quite warm. Took twice as long to get to work as loads of old giffers decided it was time to get the volvo out and go for a stroll. People were swerving around on roads that HAD been gritted as if they beleived the news reports of 8 inches.
