SONZ OF A LOOP DA LOOP ERA
‘FAR OUT (REMIXES)’
SUBBASE AUDIO / LIQUID ASSET
RELEASED October 14th

Fulfilling the prophecy that hardcore will never die, Sonz of a Loop da Loop Era’s 90’s rave classic ‘Far Out’ gets re-released on Liquid Asset records to celebrate it’s tenth anniversary, featuring remixes from Tin Tin Out, Altern8, DJ Era and The 3Jays Vs Bichon Hunters

The most requested track from Suburban Base’s immense catalogue, ‘Far Out’ is a definitive moment in UK dance culture: a record that for many people defines the golden era of dance music when unity was the word, love really was in the air and chasing the buzz was a way of life, not a low-cost airline.

Sonz of a Loop da Loop were one of the original rave chart cross-over acts, their Top 30 hit ‘Far out’ a defining rave anthem of the early 90s. Danny Breaks, who was the Sonz, is now a successful drum ‘n’ bass producer and DJ.

‘Far Out’ was the rave-anthem that achieved national success in the Top 30 without diluting its hardcore credentials. On October 14th the whistle posse can once again make some noise when this rave classic is re-released, allowing everyone a second bite of the old-skool cherry.

I've heard a few of these mixes and gotta say - if it aint broke don't try & fix it - they're not good

Stick with the original or the "Further Out" remix - still sound fine to my ears !!!

Hmm

What Zen said about this release is some PR blurb yeah we know this but at the end of the day it will introduce the tune (or elements of it) to a whole new generation of clubbers, fact

But of course as we all know, it is really a shameful money making exercise which ever way you look at it:p

I dont know me, cos in the mid 90's there was some cracking remixes of old skool tunes, but now, genres are fragmented even further and the 'tech house warbler speed anthem garage mix' probs wont appeal to me

At least the original is on there eh:cool:

No its not good at all  :naughty:

Im quite happy with my "on an album" version for the time being, but am looking forward to the day I find the original in a charity shop for 50p (cos I will you know !! :p ;) )

I dont want to hear this on a radio in evey shop I go in, I dont want to hear people say oh this mix is well better than the original, I dont want money making barons making money out of a F**kin awesome tune. Just leave it alone and stop messing with perfection.....

AA side Far out [ Tin Tin Out Remix ]

Review - Sorry to say peep's ..... but it's a pile of shite :(

No piano, no scratch sounds...... just another boring 4x4 beat pile of tosh

Well predictide Sweet & Ste H

no mi by Altern 8 either, shame as I guess they would of been the only ones to do it justice

Marks out of 10....... = -10:(
