right peeps i know that soulseek is a file sharing site ,

but whats the proper addy for it as i cannot seem to find it :$

an then what ? do you have to register , an how does it work in general ?

Get the program here:

It's free, you just install it, and enter a username and password, then specify which folders on your pc you want to share, and an incoming folder for the downloads.

Are you on a works machine? maybe their firewall is blocking it?

and if you're using a mac (as i am)......good luck. it is an arduous task. have to install all the apple developer tools, then an application called fink, then an application called nicotine and then after 5 or 6 hours of installation, chances are only about 50/50. UGH!!!!!!!

lippiatte try MLMAC for the mac (no dev tools command line or fink components hehe), it searches soulseek, kazza, gnuttella, edonkey, torrents, direct connect ..and loads more, only thing is most of the stuff on it will be for PC but that don't matter where mp3's and that are concerned ......

Still no joy for me on Soulseek m8s, dont know what the problem is it has my brain racked. :S

Gettin a message up that the server may be down if the internet connection is up. But this has comin up for the past two weeks, has to be a problem with my setup I think??

Can anyone think on why this is happening??
