I've watched the new Star Trek film tonight and even though I'm no trekkie by any means...

WOW - Th most amazing sci-fi film I've seen in years. Real edge of the seat stuff.

I can recommend it to anyone.

I have heard it's superb, the critics love it and you do not have to be a trekkie to enjoy it.

I must say the trailers look fantastic and shot really well, with fantastic colours and texture.

Think a trip to the flicks is on the cards!

we used to watch voyager in our house...and ended up getting really into it. The film looks like a really good scifi film in general...can't wait to see it.

You won't be disappointed Debs. I watched it at a preview night and there were loads of people in star trek t-shirts and stuff and the entire row in front of me and loads more stood up and gave it a standing ovation when the end credits rolled.

I haven't seen that in a cinema for years.

Oh and the special effects are gobsmackingly amazing.

For those of you with home cinema set ups, this will become your reference disc of choice on BR I'm sure.
