Storage Boxes For 12"s

I need to put a hell of alot of vinyl away in storage - prob my garage , loft etc. They current live on custom built shelves, but I need the cheapest solution to box um so they can be stacked. [I can't afford light cases for um all ]

Spotted this kind of thing:

I got a good deal on 20 larger ones than above for £80 with free delivery a couple of years back.

Depends how many records you need to store and for how long - they would be fine in a non damp room (loft if converted)

i had mine in self storage for 7 months, stored in regular card boxes (wine boxes etc) i built my shelves in there too so they were stacked properly in their boxes

i was a bit anxious when i came to take them out but all were fine

if you can i would advise restoring them in your shelves....

If you are putting them in a damp garage I'd recommend these from Really useful boxes

Hi,

Just a heads up, the best place to buy those "really useful boxes" is Hobby Craft

They do the 48ltr version (holds about 150 records) for £12.99 each, or 3 for 2 and free delivery on orders over £20.

B&Q also sell these boxes, so it might be worth checking your local store, though i don't think they'll be as cheap as Hobby Craft
