streams keep buffering

This last week or so everytime I try and listen to a stream on the radio i get 10 seconds maybe then it buffers and reconnects. I tried connecting a playing live today and did so no problems for an hour yet i still cant listen to the radio auto dj or live dj without buffer. Ive tried reseting my modem and cleanin the laptop up but its still the same.

Anyone any ideas???

The only other thing I can think is that this shit company I am with now (pipex, formely toucan who i had no probs with before they changed in feb) are now merging with Talk Talk and are messing with the settings?

areet chris,im no tecky head but i had similiar probs,r u on a wired connection or wireless,if wireless yr router may not be strong enough, i was on a router and had same probs,so i used my modem on a wired connection and it works fine now,ya can get really long ethernet cables if its not near yr lappy on amazon for pennies to reach lappy or desktop,or ya can go and buy a good router which will work as good as a wired modem but some of em or not cheap as ya prob already know hope ya sort it

aye mate as postie says if your on a wireless connectoin try a wired un n see if it sorts it out - if stlil no luck try doing a scan with malwarebytes to make sure you aint got a trojan that could be hittin ya network

Ive had this prob many a time n its so anoying , Turn ur pc off then turn your router off by plug , plug router back in and turn pc on and it will be fine , sounds crazy but works

hmmmm....got home from work and its fine today. Exactly same thing happened last week:S ah well, enjoy it while it lasts

also are you disabling yer firewall before streaming as I've had problems with buffer when streaming meself before I realised it was that...
