The technics were second hand off ebay but the original headshells had never been used. when my new decks arrived, i was too excited to mess about with head shells so just used the old numark ones. i dismantled one of the old  ones last night to transfer the cartridge (ortonfon pro s) but i couldnt get the ends of the wires on the technics head shell on to the pins of the cartridge. the metal bits on the ends of the wires seem too narrow. has anyone else had this problem??
