I've got 30 odd original Palais recordings to rip from Tape to MP3, Can any one recommend FREE ! easty software that will rip from tape source and Denoise, then convert ? dont want a suite of applications as this is gunna take a while.

i don't know what kind of tape you're referring to... but.. you should be able to play this tape and feed this into the input of your sound card on your computer....

look out for 'wave pad' .. as a general purpose sounding editing facility.. but there are other utilities on the nch.com.au website.
