Can I plug 2 CDJ400's into a single external hard drive? Thinking of a laptop hd with case which usually need 2x usb plugs.....I had always guessed that 1 usb was for data and other for power with these cases??? Alternatively can you get external laptop drives requiring only a single usb plug and no other external power source?

Im shite with technology so any help would be great.

Thanks S

Thanks all. Im trying to remove the need for a computer as I cant get on with latencey issues (my skills are not up to it). So wanting to plug the hd directly into the usb on the CDJ400's using a Y cable/splitter which come as standard on some hd's. I am wanting to hide the hd in the flightcase so it becomes a simple plug and play flightcase with 2x cdj400's, maybe djm400 with all tracks on the hd.

Example of hd case from fleabay, 1 plug for hd and 1 plug in each CDJ? with 2 cdj's able to be supported by 1hd?
