Technics decks with 2 pin plug query

Is it as simple as just cutting it off and adding a 3 pin???


My decks are 25 year old and In all that time it’s pissed me off to use them shaver connectors

replace with a uk plug with live/neutral...if you want the earth then you'll need to find an earth connection, or make one, inside...to the chassis...personally I wouldn't use an unearthed device that was always in my hands and near beer!! should be some pics on my deck build vid...show us your deck thread on here..

So I presume that’s what I’ve been doing?? For all these years
