Hi, thanks to whoever it was who passed this gem on, but I have a question - Although the 30 - 60 days timespan is not yet up and running for them to block all the calls, I was wondering if they block the ones from abroad too? Im still getting a LOT of dodgy Indian/Pakistani telemarketing calls and I was just paniking that it may never stop cos they are abroad and therefore may not be covered under the legislation.

Does anyone know off hand? Otherwise Ill have to go quite litteraly mad and start making madman noises down the telephone just like the famous ex directory BT man clip that was doing the rounds a few years back. lol.

Duno about abroad, I think it only works for UK calls, however some companies call you using the phone book or may have you on there records from previous occasions, If you get a call from them appear interested, then take as many details about the company as you can, address name of caller and all that shit.

Write down the time and date you receive the call, the sue there arse for up to £2000.00 ;)
