Just up the road from my house and couldnt help but think bring the decks and the tunage for a party by the Loch.
Talk about in the middle of nowhere place the decks on the side of the Loch and invite yer pals, the noise may bother the deer and thats about it haha

My mate did this a few times for his birthday in his late 20s. We'd hire a cottage (usually in Wales) for the weekend and everyone would chip in accomodation costs and a little extra for a breakfast and booze kitty. Im not sure what prices he paid but usually it was around £50 each and there'd be about 15 of us. Just make sure its nicely out of the way, wire up the decks and bobs yer uncle  Oh yeah. just dont let off Airbang repeaters in a field next to stabled horses....:naughty:

my m8 has just got back from Aldourie Castle Aldourie Castle - Golf - Houses & Castles - Highlands & Islands - George Goldsmith i cant remember the full price but its about 36 grand a week :| and he was on a freebie, its where Rockness is held, there is a stately home just down the road from where where i live owned by the same family. and the lads who work there also do the work up at the castle. im sure there was some mention of if you put someone forward who books a weeks break you get a few grand cut too :D so if anyone fancies booking a week go through me please ;)

We've done it the past two years. In Tarn, Cumbria...there was roughly 25ish of us...we took decks and a massive PA, loads of booze/food etc, and more consumables than we could consume. It's been great.

We can't go back though, because someone broke the setee...plus it'd be nice to go somewhere diffs. It's hard to find somewhere far out enough though for loud music etc...the search continues for this years instalment.:p

wicked...

reminds me of a few parties we did on kinder scout in the peak district.... rented a travellers rest type place (think its an outward bound type place now) 2 miles up dirt track accessible only in landrover... couple of decks n a system n a top party

when in the pub next afternoon the locals told us all they could hear was music echoing down the valley lol but they couldnt work out where it was coming from....

love parties in remote places phones:
