So a TFT or LCD is better than a CRT, and a high flicker rate is the best <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite8" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":D" />.  My eyes are gonna thank you one day, when i muster the money to buy a new monitor that is! 17"'s are allegedly good value nowadays though from wha Ive heard, but perhaps the high refresh rate are the more dearer ones - I wondered how they could get away with an extra 150 quid between manufacturers of same sized screens, lol.  Ah well, thats what Im gonna look into, a 17 or 19"  high refresh/flicker rate monitor and the next time I see one thats a bargain, Im gonna have to try and find the fundage for it.....along with my new decks I want, a few speakers, new telly and TV card....lol.
