nope im not talking Q-Bert, Sasha, DJ Shadow, or even Balckburn Bod ;)

these guys are the top of the pile :D :D :D Mark and Lard

i have managed to get a couple of dvds sent full of all the best bits  i remember every afternoon us gathering round the radio at work listening to Morris Idol, and Missing words and all the other funny randomness they used to put out :D

i have just uploaded the whole 14 parts of Morris Idol to youtube, heres one of my favourite auditions, local Leeds lad Nicholas Puddingcome :D

heres another classic from missing words, im pretty sure they wouldn't get away with this stuff on afternoon radio these days.

i am currently listening to Folklore clips which i never heard 1st time round, and these really are random. will get some upped when i get time, classic ancient rituals such as, Podging the Elton, or Spearing the Britney :D fpmsl at them.

Couldn't beat a bit of frogging in the afternoon with scoff cruddle or lards animal sanctuary were every poor animal had a little bit of poo stuck to it.

Awesome - used to love listening to their show. I used to have a c90 tape where i had taped all those bits where Lard phoned in pretending to be someone from a story in the news that day (Despite never changing his voice and always answering in the same way - 'Hello Mark!'). There was one that sticks in my mind where he pretended to be posh spice talking about all the great things David had bought her - he went on to describe an amazing device that played a tune when your brew was ready, which Mark pointed out was a kettle and all kettles made that whistling noise when they boiled - brilliant!
