wtf? please can someone explain to me how this works. I put on itv last night and there is a picture with three numbers on. Each written on 3 different hotair ballons. one is 96 one is 44 and the other is 80 and the caption above the numbers says 'add the numbers' not subtract the number or multiply the numbers. So the answer is 120 yet when someone phones in with 120 they say wrong. WTF?

Was it one of those quiz shows, if so then it's completely arbituary, it could be 9+6+4+4+8+0, or it could 3 (three hot air balloons), or it could be 96+44+80+3 etc, etc, etc. It's just a huge huge scam by greedy people to take money off people who probably can't afford it in the first place.

Just messing, it depends on how they want you to add them. By not being clear there are load of poss answers, hence shit loads of folk phoning in. They could mean add 9 to 6 to 4 to 4 blah blah, or whatever 9 plus 6 equals add to whatever 4 plus four equals. Its a big con. That is, of course if its what i am thinking of.
