before voting on the poll please read these instructions carefully

basically you decide who plays at what times in the unanthem room @ vision classix - the blue rooms on saturday 14th august. i have 5 spaces in this room and so the 5 members with the highest nuimber of votes get the sets. the member with the highest number of votes out of them 5 gets first dibs on set time the second highest gets second choice and so on...

it is a multiple choice poll and you can each pick a maximum of 5 out of the selection - choosing in effect what would be your perfect line up on the night. you dont have to choose 5 you can choose 1 or 2 but only up to a maximum of 5. anyone voting over 5 members will have all of there selections removed.

dj's who are in this poll. feel free to post a reply to this post with a link to a mix of yours. also any dj found trying to fraudulently get votes either by regging new members or bulk pm'in the whole forum asking them to vote will be disqualified. although pm'ing fans of there mixes or people who have replied to dj mixes in the mixes section is ok. you cannot vote for yourself. any other questions regarding this give me a shout.

only dj's who are in this poll are allowed to reply to this thread. if we end up with 8 pages of posts it will get way to confusing for everyone.

this poll will be up for the next 14 days when it expires the compo is over

good luck to all

I recently did this mash up of THK - France & Ce Ce Rodgers - Never Give Up.
Live from the decks - no silly computers involved!

These 2 tunes are are just made for each other.

I stole this idea completly from Vertigo - from an ARK tape from 1991 - He did it so well you would swear it was just one record.

Anyway RIGHT CLICK HERE etc for my rendition of it!

i'm in two minds at the mo, if i get voted in it'll be either 91 techno / breakbeat or mellower sasha 92 stylee (universe and gspot etc). the 1st part of my 'not forgotten' set is similiar to the breakbeat stuff and 'mellow vibe champion' is the mellower stuff.

couple of my mix's here folks....

If I get on, I'll play a selection of funky arsed Italian and US breaks with a smattering of hip hop acapella's, some obscure / under played early piano, a 1974 original classic played over the top of an early moving shadow hardcore beauty (oh yes), and who knows what else between now and then!

Here's one of my mixes:

its hard to say what sort of style i'll play on the night if i do get the chance, coz usually i'll play it by ear in relation to what time i'm on and whether people are diggin the tunes etc ..... idealy thou i like to get a blend of house classics, with my own lesser known faves from the 89-91 era. A mixture of acid, piano with accapellas is all good

an old-skool house mix i did last year is up in the mixes section at the mo here :) http://www.oldskoolanthemz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34842 which features a few of my faves

and heres a more new-skool based mix ive done, with the odd classic thrown in phones: http://www.oldskoolanthemz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35068 :) (not that i'll be playing any new-skool at OSA's do btw ;) ) hope you enjoy em :)

I will hopefully get a mix upped shortly - been a bit sidetracked these last few days...;) :dummy: .
In the meantime - music style = ANYTHING GOES!!!!!

Probably take some Hacienda tunage, hip house, a few Quad tunes, Belgian bits, some Italian lovelies from 88 -93, some proper old house a la them Sunrise tapes like Dynamic Duo etc. plus couple of really well known ones just in case we clear the floor with sommat...:$ :p oh and Urban Nature for Konspiracy...;)

Basically anything that will keep you all moving and grooving - it will be unrehearsed as always as u never know what people will go for on the night so I'm not going to say our mixing will be the smoothest or our tunes all in the same key blah blah blah, basically Mick plays a few tunes, I play a few tunes, then he plays a few more.....and we see where we go from there :cops: - but if anyones been to hazy u'll know that we'll damn well try and have just as much a good time as you lot are having....phones: :fekked: :gigolo:

slight change to the plan in this room people

there will now be only 4 slots available due to me bagging a very special guest dj to play in this room for the osa massive. all will be revealed at the end of the poll.

people u can still vote for 5 as before as to not screw up the voting but only the top 4 vote counts will get a set

 - Oh no!!!! - We were just hanging on to fifth place. If Jen's post is near the mark, I might have to locate some mini coopers and randomly let tyres down...:hubba:

I didn't want to put up full 90 min mixes as they'd be a pain to download so if this helps bag a few more votes for me and mick, here's two 20 minute Hazydayz "megamixes" done for Juice FM earlier this year and last year. The bitrate is kept low so should download fairly quickly, so ignore sound quality...

Massive, MASSIVE thanks to retroandy for hosting these...
