Me and 6 or 7 good friends of mine are going to go to Manchester for the weekend at the start of April. We will definately go to the Zoo night to check out some Old Skool on 2nd April.

Do many people who post here go down to the club on Zoo nights? (My guess is that they do, hence my post) what is the atmosphere like?

Anyway we are looking forward to it, and my friends are going to register on here soon to debate and discuss issues and music.

Don't know where you're from abu but manchester is a culturally diverse place and people of all races go to clubbing events in manchester.

Old skool and clubbing in general is renowned for breaking racial barriers especially during the heydays of rave culture.

Events such as Timeless celebrate these times with an atmosphere and entertainment that is the closet you'll get to being back in 91.

Bring yer mates down and enjoy!

What kinda old skool do ya like? ;)

Totally agree with the above comment equally clubbing around the late 80's was responsible for the demise of football violence! known fact. After thatchers britain, the counrty was in a depressed state ,both economic and in morale.Clubbing of the acid house days not only lifted spirits of the unemployed masses ,but also alievated the underlying violent tension which had surfaced. :D
