Glow-Worms

Seems there's quite a few in the front garden and i've been watching them glowing all night, on and off, looking to attract males

I've tried to get some pictures, but they seem to know when i'm close by and don't put on a show anymore, so these pictures give you an idea what they look like if you haven't seen them Behind the long grass though they can look like a lot like sparklers

They hang about when the light goes out and gently glow from head to toe...................

I cant sleep

mine goes to bed with me everynight and his names keith lol...

I couldn't record them with my compact camera as I couldn't get close enough Gonna try and get the odd shot with a DSLR if I see them again though

It's absolutely amazing just thinking that that these things even exist and even more amazing when they're right on your doorstep
