just had another mate get laid off today. I really hate this country at the mo. Getting daily emails from a friend in thailand everyday and it makes me want to cry. There is no chuffing great in britain. It's costs £250,000 for a two bedroom flat in london at the moment. AAARRGGFGGHHHH am really really pissed off. We are entering a f**king terrible year. beleive me. I want out of this country but need the money to do it. Catch bloody 22.

Having bben to Thailand on both busienss and pleasure I do not feel any reaosn to rate in above England - unless you like cheap whores and the floatsam of the backpacking community....

London is SCARY MARY. Id starve down there cos its my principle not to pay over the odds for owt.....I expect a proper pot of tea for less than £1.50! and a bag of chips for less than a quid. As for houses, fek me, youre paying cost of my parents house for a carparking space.....but the ratio of pay to cost of living (besides houses) is pretty-ish balanced I reckon..........

Seen a thing on the telly a couple of weeks ago about car parking spaces and some one sold one in a mayfair cark park £75.000.Feck me thats a lot of dough for a car space.You could buy a decent house with gardens front and rear up here for that.The thing i can`t understand is why why everbody wants to have a business in london these days with the technology about these days ie email video cams,ufaxes and so on theirs not need for a big buiness in the centre of london.

wouldnt bother about the asylum seekers,but we pay for the twats though tax ,
and when they do come all they do is cause trouble.wigan is one off the places they have been sent to along with liverpool in the north west.
i live near wigan park which is full of them with there new mountain bikes,which we have payed for.
this country is to soft.
then they expect us to pay the costs how the fuck can they justify the price of alcohal,cigs,cars,electrical equipment in this country when everything is much cheaper in other places.

They stoped sending them to burnley now after the riots last summer,but remember a story a few years age that the did a old folk`s home up for them to live in and when they came to moving in it turned out is was`nt good enough for them.How mad is that.

These achievements you mention are just not happening anymore youre talking about what was once a great if not the greatest country in the world (although country is an understatement, it was an Empire).
Unfortunately that was long long ago, infact since the end of the first world war we have been living on former glories, financially supported by the US and merely tolerated by the rest of the world.

You have hit the nail on the head as far as state of mind and line of thought are concerned, I was never aware of just how true of a concept "living to work" was untill I left the UK and moved to Southern Spain, now dont get me wrong it aint perfect here either but these people's primary objective in life is to live and they only use work as a means to an end and not vice versa.

We are now looking at 2 bedroom terraced house between £100,000 - £145,000. It means that when we do find a house we won`t be able to eat, drink or go anywhere as the monthly payments will be so high, but at least I will be somewhere where I`m not gonna get robbed by some immigrant who is richer than me anyway.

Step on the bandwagon more (loads more) of so called experts which contradict each other and never resolves the issue, papers and phone polls at £1 a minute whether red muffins should be banned.......
Then because of all the muffin hysteria, the goverment passes a small bill to say there must be no red muffins....
