When Labour got in I was relieved. Thank fek for that I thought. The tories had screwed this country up real bad. Labour has been going pretty well, apart from the PPP bullcrap and crazy stuff Mark Thomas uncovers!. However, they are being ruled by the media circus now. Reactive politics rather than active or sommet. Set out a vision of what needs doing and do it. Fek the papers, theyre just after sensationalising and selling news to keep the media engine running. Listen to the poeple. They set off with clear issues and vision, but the media has set in again and its like blindmans buff again. I hoped they'd nationalise the railways again etc, cos all this ppp stuff is pure shite. The government own 49% of something, a company owns the rest. They company and its fat cats make a total fekking arse out of it time and time again and bleed it dry in the process - guess who has to fund billions of pounds to keep the operation running? We do. I wish I owned a business where I could safely fuk up to the tune of say 8 billion pounds knowing joe 'mug' public will stump up the difference whether they like it or not..... Stuff goes wrong "its not my company" its one using the same gear 15 miles down the track - "Nah m8 not mine"......SMASH!. PPP hospitals too, the goverment *rents* a new building from a developer for 15 years, which is cheap on the short term for the 'books' but long term you could have baught it twice over. After the 15 years lease is up, if its not making viable money sense for the developer they are within thier rights to fuck it off and we loose a hospital. Or we carry on 'renting' it losing a shitload of money in the process longterm. Who will I vote for next time? Probably the same (?). If you think about it, different governments elected just balls about undoing each others stuff in a circle and blame each other for the mess!. Its not been too bad so far, just going off on a tangent now....... Anyway, thats assuming we all havent died horribly in a nuclear attack or from some modified anthrax/smallpox strain virus :o. See ya Sirius.
