Been getting calls on my mobile periodicly throughout the evening from a 'withheld number' Which I never usally answer. I answered once and didn't speak and could heard vague voices in the background. After about the 8th time I answered it and got a scary sounding bloke 'Your numbers on my girls phone. Whats going on?' I hung up. He rings back leaves an answerphone message 'your numbers on my girls phone what's going on' I know where you live and I'm coming round to take your kneecaps off'
Now obviously having thought about it and done a few google searches I'm pretty certain this is a wind up. It seems you can ring someone up and press the hash key when they answer and it plays a recording and seeing as he started witht he same line both when i answered and when it was left on my answerphone I reckon its a recording. Funny thing is who the hell did that. I find it in pretty bad taste or is that just me? I could think of better and probably less expensive and offensive wind ups

just rang orange. They confirmed it. He also said the joker may not even know who I am. What's the point? If i found out who it was though I'm gonna say I was having an affair and since the voicemail have turned agrophobic and recluse and have had to take time off work

I still want to know who rang last week from a withheld number, playing samples from Goodfellas.... gangster......gaaaaaaangster.......then slower GHHHAAAAAAAAANGGGSSSSSTAAAAAAA.

Someone with a bit of Fruity/Reason/Logic knowledge by the looks of it.

Had me in stitches... whoever of the PR/OSA crew it was.

ah right, well that explains some of it..

my friend was getting these calls as well...but at the same time I was getting texts from someone already in my address book..yet they didn't know me and it was obvious they weren't who I though they were...as if an old friend had sold their mobile to someone else..but they hadn't I checked that.

anyways I thought the 2 were linked but i guess not.

lol, it wasn't me nath..
